There is an angel in the room
And I can’t quite see her.
With aura so bright she lights the sky.
Like a wish further than all the stars.

Who could look directly at
Something so glowing as that?

Ethereal from above
what a distance it must be
From heaven to a heart in darkness.
To hold me like the world does the ocean.

To catch the rain and all.
To recall,
Love’s devotion without walls.
