Northern Star

We all reside
In the belly of a beast
Trapped inside
And eaten alive
Where digestion
Is time.
How dare we dream
To establish a thing
When changes
Can survive
For ages and ages.

But within the beyond, is
–Somewhere long gone–
And our own
Guiding star.
Still blinking twinkling
On and on.
