Summer Home

Home again.
Settle softly like a warm,
Still air.
But there’s still
A breeze yet.
Cutting through my
Living room like
A draft from winter’s
Bellowing denials.
Though not so cold
As to throw off the vibe
Of my warm summer home
At homecoming time.
