The Pool

This is my nothing
That I can pull from the frail air
Every last speck of frost and
Each lost trace of solitude.
This is my pool
From which I drink the thick water
Full of both light and pain.
How could I swallow the light
From something so significant?
So divine?
The dark I always take while
I leave the spark
For another’s sake.

I like the closing lines about you taking the darkness so that others may have the light. I am assuming from the title of your blog that you are also a Gemini. Why is it that every Gemini I know is attracted to dark in a disproportionate manner to light?
