Today despite the cold I suited up so Rudie and I could make a pilgrimage to my favorite ash tree.

I never heard of a ash tree, I not a nature person, so please indulge me

The ash tree has an X pattern in its bark and teardrop leaves that grow opposite each other on the branch. Different species grow throughout the world. Known as the World Tree in Norse mythology, a gateway to other dimensions.
