I’ll be ready

I’ll be ready
When the dawn hits the moon.
When a quiet sweeps in
Like an untold wind.
When the sky turns away
From stars uncounted.
When my mind finds a way
Free from this awful sway.
When horizons catch fire
With a million sunset swoops
Of oil painted deliverance
To signal the time.
I’ll be ready.
