Epilogues

Patchwork ribbons
Have coiled behind
This treasonous divide
And found their bows
In scattered knots
Where anything goes.
Where’s the light?
Has it been strangled
In this momentous fight?
Where could epilogues
Of emptiness
Find a place to hide?
There’s nothing inside.
This little lost secret
Will be blown open wide.
